BoardBoard of Directors Board of Directors shall consist of seven (7) persons who are bona fide residents of Converse or Niobrara Counties, and who have demonstrated interest in mental health or substance abuse treatment, and have qualities of leadership in said counties. Solutions For Life will recruit Board Members that have a wide range of needed skills and abilities and provide a mix in terms of skills, strengths, community knowledge, professions, age, race, gender, or ethnicity reflective of the community in which services are provided. One member of the Board shall serve in the capacity of Client Advocate, representing the interests of current or former clients of the Agency. That member will have been a direct consumer at Solutions For Life or a current consumer of Solutions For Life or a parent or guardian of a minor child who has received or is receiving services at Solutions For Life.  The Board of Directors holds their meetings monthly on the third Thursday of every month.
